This was certainly a lot of thought us, Sunday, June 21 For the second time, our community was pleased to welcome our brothers Futunians.
worship began beautiful songs in French and Futunian, so I want to thank the brothers of praise, every Saturday, give their time and energy for us to experience great moments every Sunday.
The message was based on Chapter Ezekiel 47, verse 3 to 11: the prophet has no difficulty walking when he sets foot in the torrent, source of life, because it has water to the ankles (verse 3). However, because the current and the ground shifts under his feet, his progress becomes increasingly difficult, so he loses his footing and was forced to swim (verse 5). Thus, Christian life, in its infancy, seems easy, just like the ford that crosses it readily. However, gradually as we progress with the Lord, challenges grow, so much so that it is impossible to rely on ourselves: when, humanly speaking, nothing is possible the only solution is to rely totally on Him.
After the message, the testimony of our brother Keleto, an official of the church Futuna shows how our Savior, slowly, silently, is at work in our hearts: himself and his family are Catholic gradually turned to Christ, including his father, yet very attached to the cult of childhood.
The meal we had brotherly allowed to share a convivial moment and learn more about our brothers Futunians. Thank you to our sisters who have made the kitchen conparable a beehive surrounded by bees!
To 2:30 p.m., after sharing the Lord's Supper, some brothers, ready to defy the rain, went on the place of Coconuts, a booth where we had booked to sing the praises of the world our Lord, together with the community of Torches.
Once again, it was a great day, lived in fraternal communion. Thank you to you all!
